  • New artist: Joshua Blackburn

We're thrilled to be bringing work from a new artist, Joshua Blackburn, to this year's Affordable Art Fair.
Joshua has been involved with The Artful Project since the gallery was founded, but only now are we exhibiting his work.
Joshua is a photographer and print-maker whose off-kilter view of the world is reflected in work that is often playful, humourous and provocative.
Joshua's work isn't yet featured on the Artful site, but you can see it on his artist site here. Print sale inquiries are handled via The Artful Project.
Colourscapes and I See Voices are two collections of work created as Joshua travelled from Las Vegas to Miami - 3,500 miles - in 2017. Much of this work can be seen on Joshua's website.

The Candyland series is made from giant 55mm jawbreakers that have been cut in half, sanded, polished and photograhed with a macro lense. The effect is truly stunning, and most people cannot believe these extraordinary artworks are made from children's sweets.

  • Artful at Design Junction

As every interior designer and architect should know, Design Junction is fast approaching, and The Artful Project is thrilled to be in attendance.

Amongst the many lighting and furniture stands, art isn't especially well represented; perhaps because galleries feel more at home at London's many art fairs. But Artful does things differently from traditional galleries.

Here at The Artful Project we can't be the only people feeling spoilt for choice this election. So many wonderful and diverse candidates to choose from.

As a public service to the ones we love, we commissioned a range of limited edition prints to help put matters into perspective. A3 giclée prints on 100% cotton rag paper are available to buy for a fiscally responsible £50.
